This report was commissioned by the Road Projects Division of the Northern Territory Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment to assess the archaeological potential of an area around the current Joe Creek crossing over the Victoria Highway 203 km west of Katherine. The aim of the survey was to locate and record any prescribed archaeological objects or places as defined under the Northern Territory of Australia Heritage Conservation Act 1991.,
