Notes

"My principal qualifications are practical experiences commencing from the early goldfields days in New South Wales and a knowledge acquired on outback cattle stations and driving, early pioneering and exploring in the far north of Australia, and coming into contact with tribes of aboriginals who had not seen a white man before, overlanding in Western Australia. And finally, I would endeavour to impress on the young men of Australia that the Northern Territory is a white man's country and Australia's land of the future." - [words by Thomas Traine].; Made available via the Publications (Legal Deposit) Act 2004 (NT).
