This protocol manual is designed to help provide care for people with wellbeing concerns who have been admitted to hospital with inkury. The resource will guide hospital staff in identifying injured patients with substance use problems and/or wellbeing concerns. It provides information and brief interventions that can assist patients and minimise the impact of substance use problems and/or wellbeing concerns on their physical and/or mental health. Recognition of patients in need of further treatment for substance use problems, wellbeing concerns and appropriate referral actions are also noted.,
