Abstract

This thesis seeks to advance the understanding of a particular kind of tourism destination, remote touring tracks (RTTs) within Australia. The focus is on tourism providers associated with RTTs and in particular, how they are organised. For the purposes of this study tourism providers are defined as those individuals or groups that have a direct interest in the provision of the RTT tourism experience; they may have a part time or full time interest, may be located on, or close to, or some distance from the case study site.,
