Arafura Resources Limited is proposing to develop Nolans Project which is located in Australia’s Northern Territory, about 135 kilometres north-north-west of Alice Springs and 10 kilometres west of the Stuart Highway near Aileron Roadhouse. The project is construction, mining, processing, rehabilitation and decommissioning of a rare earth mine and associated infrastructure. Mining operations will be undertaken using conventional open pit methods at a maximum overall mining rate of ten million tonnes per annum, to produce an average one million tonnes of concentrator feed each year. The proponent has a registered office in Perth, Western Australia and an office in Darwin, N.T.
