Page 5 TQ17 Hoop Challenge "Living in the Top End" The TQ17 organisers have put out a challenge to the Top End Quilting community to display their patchwork, embroidery or applique skills utilising a Hoop for next year's exhibition. Each entry will be mounted in an 11 inch embroidery hoop which will be supplied by DP&Q (to ensure uniformity for the display). The working area is a circle with a diameter of 10 & 1/4 inches. Please line the back of the project to cover threads etc. We hope to engage a Celebrity Judge to award a Prize for the best entry. Hoops will be provided at the November General Meeting at the club rooms. For any further information, please contact Robyn McDonald by email robyn.j.mcdonald@gmail.com Some of the entries at the NSW Quilt Exhibition, including Wendy Williams, left and Deborah Louie, right mailto:robyn.j.mcdonald@gmail.com
