www.katherinetimes.com.au KATHERINE TIMES, WEDNESDAY MAY 1, 2013 29 THE Katherine West Tigers U/18 team recorded their first win for the season against the in-form Brothers in Darwin on the weekend. Matt Travers got things off to a flying start with his first of three tries scored for the game. Two more tries scored by Alex MacPherson and Stephen Flores, nicely converted by Josh Belo and Kane Golding had us leading 20 to 10 at half time. Brothers came out fighting after the break however and scored two unanswered tries and conversions to lead 22 to our 20 with 10 minutes left on the clock. In a sensational display of team work and fitness, the Tigers came back fighting. Stephen Fairweather and Matt Travers scored two tries in quick succession which were converted by Josh Belo to snatch the lead back with a final score 32 to 22. The boys played a fantastic game and looked great in their new jerseys and shorts. Well done to you all and coach Tommy Cameron.
