Darwin Chorale's Fab Four of Kathryn Roberts, Kelly Carne, Carmen Fechan and Suzanne Gulikers Beatles revisited DARWIN Chorale has come together to deliver a magical mystery tour through the music of the Fab Four in their latest production, The Beatles in Cabaret. A seven piece band joins 35 singers for an evening filled with great music, humour and cabaret style in the Studio Theatre at the Darwin Entertainment Centre for three performances from July 21 to 23 at 7.30pm. The Beatles in Cabaret follows Darwin Chorales recent highly acclaimed successes with Jesus Christ Superstar and The Armed Man. The Beatles was an easy choice for the chorale, music director Michael Loughlin said. The Beatles not only changed music history they shaped an entire generation, Mr Loughlin said. Their style and innovative composition set the standard for musicians to follow. They pushed many musical, social and political boundaries. Beatlemania became a worldwide phenomenon and here we are 50 years later still loving and performing their music. Ticket sales for The Beatles in Cabaret are already strong, with tables of four and seven still available as well as the option of purchasing a supper pack for the evening. The Studio Theatre bar will be open for drink purchases. Book now at yourcen tre.com.au or call 8980 3333.
