Students enjoying a recent MyGolf program at Holy Spirit Catholic Primary School Teeing off across NT YOUNGSTERS have been teeing off across the Territory this school term, with Golf NT expanding into Alice Springs. Golf NT has been able to deliver programs to around 1500 primary school-aged students in the Darwin, Palmerston and Alice Springs regions. The four-week program delivered skill-based activities and games in the schoolyard, with the fourth week providing an opportunity to take students on course to test their newly acquired skills. Three inter-school gala days provided an opportunity for interested students to pit their skills against other schools in a competitive team environment. Anula Primary School won the 2016 Darwin Schools interschool day last week and the Alice Springs competition is being contested today. Students wishing to improve their skills away from school can sign up for the Golf Australia MyGolf Program. The 10-week introductory program is designed for five to 12-year-olds and is the major driver of junior golf participation in the nation. Does your tradie have the right licence?
