The photographs show a photo portrait of Peter Allen and another of the Allen brothers: Peter, Tommy and Les Allen, Tommy and Les cradling dingo pups. At the time the Alllen brothers had the contract from the Northern Territory Administration Primary Industry to shoot dingos that were causing problems for pastoralists. Armed with a .45 revolver, or later Browning target pistols, they would spend most of the year out patrolling the area from Central Australia to just south of Katherine and coming in to town only infrequently. These brothers were lean and tough, men of the bush; Peter Allen, despite having no right hand managing with a hook to roll a cigarette and shoot with the best of them.,
