Abstract

This report discusses the findings from a study commissioned by the Department of the Chief Minister's Office of Multicultural Affairs. The research set out to engage with young Muslim Territorians living in and around Darwin and Alice Springs, focussing on social cohesion and community resilience. The report outlines findings on how Muslim Territorians deal with the challenges faced by many Muslim communities, as diasporas across the globe, in relation to the current climate of moral panic surrounding Muslim minorities.,
