I -- L_ i L L I ' ' l ' 11. 04 12.00 12.01 12.02 12.03 13.00 13.01 - 40 All due care to prevent spillage of sump oils, lubricants and fuels shall be taken by the Contractor who shall be required to clean up such spillages to the satisfaction of the Superintendent. Vehicles and machinery shall only be washed down in the specially provided areas within the Construction Camp and the Service Trades Area. ACCESS TO EFFLUENT DISPOSAL AREAS AND APPROVAL OF TOILET FACILITIES Access to sewage disposal areas is prohibited. Ali toilet facilities must be approved by the Superintendent. Toilet and other liquid wastes shall be disposed of as directed by the Superintendent. AIR POLLUTION Dust control measures shall be employed at all times in accordance with directions of the Superintendent and the release of any dust into the open is strictly prohibited unless authorised by the Superintendent. 14.00 BREACHES OF RESTRICTIONS AND RULES 14.01 The Contractor will be deemed to have made his workforce aware of the above Environmental Restrictions and Site R~les as a Condition of Employment on the Project. 14.02 Failure of a Contractor or his employees, Sub-Contractors, etc. to comply with these requirements may lead to the imposition of a series of fines on the Contractor or individual with fines being increased for repeated breaches. Persistent offenders may be barred from the site. 14.03 Decisions made by the Superintendent shall be final. 15.00 15.01 15.02 DEFINITIONS "Appropriate Authority" means the person from time to time nominated by the Chairman, Jabiru Town Development Authority.
