Stinga Stanton, (Kalmaran) thats me. I am named after the red cliffs the other side of the Finniss River, right on the boundary line of our country. I think I am the last man for that area. I have been doing Aboriginal art for a lot of years, mainly paintings and carvings. Im a black fella from the Batchelor area. I am a Kungarakan man. I worked for Bill Harney for about 15 years and I have also worked with Paddy Fordham who are both my uncles in a blackfella sense. They used to encourage me. I had a break from art, for about 10 years and now Im back into it and I want to make it my career.
