Additional information provided by Murakami researcher, Mayu Kanamori, 23 September 2014: The man in white at the door is Yasukichi Murakami, who was manager and silent partner of this hotel in partnership with Captain A.C. Gregory. Dampier Hotel was in Broome, WA. This photo is in the Murakami family archives as well as in Broome Historical Museum. Joe Murakami has identified that the man in white at the door is his father Yasukichi Murakami. This image was actually made into a postcard by Yasukichi, who has written on back of it that the man "standing in front in white suit myself".,
