The small Palmerston locale is a melting pot with residents living in everything from Government housing in the infamous Cornwallis Circuit to the more elite homes up top near Woolies. Tradies, soldiers and cops live alongside public servants, single parents and empty nesters. Gray was created more than 20 years ago and it quickly became a place for families. Today most homes have a big backyard, loads of palm trees and some sort of staffy or mixed breed dog. These 50 pictures come from both our professional photographers and contributors who call Gray home. Among our favourites are: No. 1 A green tree frog enjoying a car ride, from Rachel Warland No. 15 Sports reporter Grey Morris with his granddaughter at Gray.
