Season four Answers: 1B, 2A, 3B, 4C, 5BQUIZ MythBusters Reilly feeling right at home N ines popular building-makeover challenge The Block may be cel-ebrating its 10th birthday this year, but dont think for a second this milestone means the show will be taking it easy on its contestants. In fact, this years The Block: Triple Threat looks set to make it tougher than ever for the amateur renovators. First, theres the building itself. While its located on prime real es tate Darling St in the Melbourne suburb of South Yarra its a 1970sera brick box perhaps generously described by the show as a faded star. Bringing it into the 21st century will be a challenge, even by Block standards. But getting the chance to work on it, well, thats even more of a challenge. Triple Threat pits several newbies against some returning all-stars, with only four spots up for grabs. To land one of those spots, both rookies and veterans alike will have to take part in challenges that will see half the newbies and all but one of the all-star teams eliminated. Its a dynamic weve never seen before on the show, said Dan Reilly, a Block veteran from the shows 2012 and 2013 seasons who returns to Triple Threat as foreboy to foreman Keith Schleiger. Fans v Faves was close, but the kind of challenges that kick off this season havent been done before, so I think the first week is going to be great viewing, just because of that difficulty. The newbies are really tested this year, especially during the elimination challenges its very tough getting onto The Block this year, as youll see, Reilly said. The new guys can sometimes look like lost puppies wandering around, not quite sure whats going on. But they learn pretty quickly it doesnt take long. z The Block: Triple Threat, premieres Tuesday, Nine, at 7.30pm Back on The Block: Dan Reilly. All programming is subject to change.
