40 Outer Harbour 2014 5.9 Outer Harbour The area is a well-mixed system open to coastal exchange. Effluent from the Ludmilla Wastewater Treatment Plant is discharged to this part of the Harbour at the East Point outfall. Figure 18 summarises the results of water quality parameters measured at Outer Harbour monitoring sites. Table 13 reports median values and 20th-80th percentiles (compliance), minimum and maximum values of the data measured. Table 13 - Summary of water quality parameters measured in the Outer Harbour One water quality parameter (total nitrogen) measured did not comply with the WQOs: Water quality at the Outer Harbour monitoring zone is in very good condition. Highest values of ammonia, total nitrogen and filterable reactive phosphorus were measured at sites closest to the East Point outfall site.
