SANDERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL Building the Future News and Views Page 4 JAPANESE NEWS Japanese Language Classes Students learning Japanese have had a busy semester with many new learning experiences. Some activities included: learning how to count to 100 and say ones own age writing numbers in kanji learning to say own favourite colour using the class wikispace to prepare for speaking assessment tasks www.japanese-at-sanderson.wikispaces.com making an audio voice recording of ones own self-introduction in Japanese continuing Year 9 students have produced a photo journal in Japanese about the subjects they study, descriptions of their teachers and characteristics of their timetable that may differ to those of Japan Learning Languages Is For Everyone There are students who have only started learning Japanese this year to students who have learnt Japanese for nearly two years at Sanderson. When it comes down to it, it doesnt really matter what language you learn, as there is an endless list of benefits for learning languages. Have a look at students work and the talent that exists for learning languages at Sanderson! 2014 2014 Japan Study Tour - Update (Ms Cuff) was planning an overseas excursion to Japan in September 2014 for students of Japanese but unfortunately the excursion has been cancelled. All families will receive a full refund for the money paid so far as per the letter sent home, so please complete the form and return to Ms Cuff before the holidays.
