Right after the ultrasound at 9am my belly started hurting and I went into labour at noon and she was here at 6.45. Elysah and Chandler Carlos were thrilled she surprised them early. Its been a life-changing experience. Everyone is excited, Elysah said. Akira will be shown off to their families in the Philippines when she turns one. She was born on August 20 and weighed 3.94kg and measured 52cm. Clint Henry Diaz ACCORDING to thirdtime mum Kym Munro, six years is ample time to forget about newborn babies. Hes a brother to Jodianne, 8, and Dylan 6. Kym said Jodianne wanted a baby sister so much she cried when she was told it was a brother. But we call her mother hen now, shes fine with him and she loves giving him cuddles. Kym said Clint will probably play rugby league with his big brother for the Palmerston Raiders. Clint weighed 3.7kg and measured 50cm. Slater Sylvestor Blanco James Costa Fileman MOST new bubs are named after their forefathers, but James Costa Fileman has started a new trend, being named after his Dads best friend. New dad Dave said his mate was honoured by their gesture and said of his son, I love him already and hes going to be 10 times the man I am. Jamess arrival hasnt just been ex citing for Mia and Daves friends, but as the first grandson for both of their families, he will no doubt he showered with love and have plenty of visitors. Were very happy with our bundle, Mia said. James was born on August 20 at 8.48pm. He weighed 3.7kg and measured 51cm. TIME is never a concern when youre on holiday, so Slater Sylvestor Blanco decided to be fashionably late, arriving 11 days after his due date. Parents Rykia and Ray travelled up to Darwin from Pannawonica, WA, to be with family when Slater arrived. We moved over there a year ago but weve got a lot of family up here so we thought it would be best to come back, Rykia said. Despite enjoying a bit of warm weather in the tropics, Rykia and Ray are looking forward to settling into family life and introducing Slater to his new home in WA. Slater was born at 8.51pm on August 21. He weighed 3.53kg and measured 52cm. Claire Ormsby THERE is nothing better than having a big sister, and luckily for Claire Ormsby shes going to have double the sisterly love with Jemma, 4, and Brooke, 2, to look out for her. The two older sisters were very curious but excited by the newest addition to their family. Parents Nick Ormsby and Rachel Lindner saved the gender of Claire as a surprise, and werent worried if they added a brother or sister, just as long as whoever arrived was happy and healthy.
