Shaggy hair Answers: 1D, 2B, 3A, 4B, 5D QUIZ Andy Samberg Lets talk about sex Mixing business and pleas-ure is a tricky balance to achieve, and Masters of Sex is continuing to walk that highwire like a champ in its second season. This US drama is one of the finest programs out there right now, intellectually insightful and emotionally engaging, with its two fascinating leads complemented by an array of complex, colourful supporting characters. The in-depth, groundbreaking investigation into human sexuality embarked upon by scientist Bill Masters (Michael Sheen) and social researcher Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan, pictured) initially gave the show its framework, and it still plays a role in moving the story along, but Masters of Sex has branched out in new directions. Even though theres plenty to enjoy on this show beyond the chemistry between Masters and Johnson, the connection between the two and the marvellous teaming of Sheen and Caplan remains a drawcard, especially as the two are redefining the nature of their professional and personal relationship in these new episodes. Michael is such a dangerous, exhilarating opponent, Caplan recently told a US interviewer. He and I both come with very, very clear ideas about what our characters are thinking. Masters of Sex has proven to be something of a game-changer for the actress. I still cant believe I get to do something thats such a departure from what I had been doing for my entire career, she said. n Masters of Sex, Thursday, SBS ONE, 9.30pm 6.00 Dora The Explorer. 6.30 Weekend Today. 9.30 Financial Review Sunday. 10.00 Wide World Of Sports. 11.00 NRL Sunday Footy Show. 1.00 The Block Glasshouse Unlocked. 1.30 Rugby League.
