Be Recognised Be Rewarded Be Skilled Be the Best The best of the best in the Territorys vocational education and training (VET) sector will be honoured at the 59th annual Northern Territory Training Awards gala presentation event at the Darwin Convention Centre on Saturday 13 September. The Northern Territory Training Awards are the peak awards for the VET sector. These prestigious awards celebrate and reward the achievements of apprentices, trainees and vocational students, and recognise the contribution and innovative approaches to quality training made by trainers, training organisations and employers in developing the Territorys growing industries and workforce. Coordinated by the Northern Territory Government, these awards recognise that quality VET outcomes are achieved through combined effort and commitment. The awards offer fnalists the chance to gain personal satisfaction and access opportunities in their industry, and provide the chance to be part of an elite group of ambassadors who represent the Territorys best people and organisations in VET. The quality of this years nominations once again provided the judges with a diffcult task to determine the winners of the eleven individual and organisational categories. Winners of the 2014 NT Training Awards may be eligible to represent the Territory at the Australian Training Awards in Adelaide on 21 November.
