It sounds corny, but I didnt know you could love something so much, she said. Its just an amazing feeling. She and hubby Darren welcomed Lucas Jeremy on July 12 at 9.08am. Lynette said it was likely Lucas would be a sporty kind of fellow. I love swimming, my dad and brother are both into baseball, and Darren is into AFL. I would love him to play footy, but Ill be scared hes going to get hurt. Lucas weighed 2.7kg and measured 47cm. Elly Rose Marnie Sloane ELLY Rose Marnie Sloans two middle names are an ode to her two grandmothers. But if older brothers WillDaley, 5, and Roley, 3, had their way, she wouldve had a slightly different yet quirky name. They wanted her to be called Marley Snowflake, mum Helen said. No idea where they got that from. Helen and hubby Matt welcomed Elly on July 10 at 8.28am. Elly is the first granddaughter on both sides of the family. Im the first in mine and Matts families to have a girl everyone is having boys so shell be a little princess, Helen said. The couple said they looked forward to watching Elly terrorise her brothers. Elly weighed 3.5kg and measured 49cm. Charlotte Chanel McCasker THE McCASKER household has been a doubly happy place since June. First-time parents Chanel and Benjamin McCasker announced they were expecting to their family just after Christmas last year, while visiting them in Melbourne. Then Bens sister Rebecca piped up and announced she was also expecting. So it was pretty exciting it was good having them close together. Chanel and Ben welcomed Charlotte Chanel on June 25 at 9.49am. Chanel said Ben would likely push his little girl in the direction of footy. Shes already a Demons member, so shell be playing soon, she said. The couple, who live on Bathurst Island, are now settling in to life at home with Charlotte. She weighed 3.2kg and measured 51cm. Madison Nancy Edwards FIRST-time mum Rebecca McCasker gets to share a pretty special part of her life with her family. She and partner Robert Edwards welcomed Madison Nancy Edwards on June 27 at 7.18pm just two days after Rebeccas brother and his wife welcomed their little girl. Rebecca said they were part of a very close family. Chanel and I talked to each other a lot neither of us knew what we were having, so we were rapt when we both had girls, she said. Rebecca said Madison will definitely be involved in swimming, and will probably enjoy horse riding. The family lives at Acacia Hills, so Madison will be pretty outdoorsy too. She weighed 3.89kg and measured 53cm. Jonas Wilson THE Wilson family is complete after the birth of baby Jonas. Jonas is Kirsty and Justins third child a little brother for DJ, 6, and Chloe, 2. Kirsty said being a mum for the third time feels just as great as the first time. But he was the easiest of the three easiest pregnancy, labour he was great, she said. She said its likely DJ will try and get his little brother to play rugby league for the South Darwin Rabbitohs. Im a Broncos fan, so Im happy for league, but Justin is a Geelong fan so hell want him playing AFL. Well see where he goes. Jonas was born on July 14 at 11.10am. He weighed 2.67kg and measured 49cm. Amalie Pettifer BABY Amalie Pettifer has an interesting heritage. Mum Radka is Czech, while dad Ryan is a Kiwi. The couple welcomed Amalie on July 13 at 2.35am. Ryan said being a dad was a piece of cake, so much so they already had a bit of a routine going. When she was pregnant, she would cook and I would do all the washing up, now when shes feeding Amalie, I just do whatever else she needs to help, he said. They said they would be getting Amalie into sports of any kind. We live opposite tennis courts, so Ill probably teach her to play tennis, Radka said.
