MEDIA RELEASE Delia Lawrie LEADER OF THE OPPOSITION Palmerston resident, Carol Whitbread, is doing it tough under the CLP Governments PowerWater pain and doesnt support privatisation because it will lead to further price hikes. The CLP Government need to start caring about Territorians doing it tough, Ms Whitebread said. PowerWater bills are too expensive and we cant afford any more price hikes. Labor Candidate for Blain, Geoff Bahnert, said Carol will be one of many Blain residents he has spoken to that will be using the by-election to let the CLP Government know they are hurting from the PowerWater costs. The CLP Government doesnt care about Territorians struggling to pay their power and water bills, Mr Bahnert said.
