The committee is meeting regular ly and bui ld ing on last years successes. W h i l s t t h e a m a z i n g organisers last year made it all look easy, organising the weekend is complex and time consuming. Our dedicated committee and subcommittee are hard at it. So, the exhibition: Will open on the evening of the 29th August 2014 Will again transform our local shop into an exhibition and performance venue (thanks Sue and Chris) Will have local performers performing at the opening Phone 0417 002 025 New 13 seater bus! So far we are discussing a water colour painting workshop, a clay workshop. Do you have skills to share with the community before or during the exhibition weekend? Wed love to speak with you. For those who dont know who to speak with, heres our committee line up this year Graham Selwood, Di Drake, Nena Zanos, Rebecca James, Ai leen Blyth, Chris Chaplin and Alison Edwards. We also have Hannah Seward and Paul Myatt helping with graphic design and marketing thankyou! Are you ready artists? Some of the detail for you to enter the exhibiton: No art work can exceed 2m x 2m. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces of work and will be asked to prioritise these in case there isnt room to display all of them. Wagait Wagon Update: New 13 seater wagon in service! We service most morning ferry runs by appointment. We meet the Mon to Fri 5:00pm and 6:00pm ferries from town (NOT the 7:00pm, unless prior booking made). Also, later ferries in the evening require prior booking by 5:30 pm at the latest. Bookings are essential on the weekend, minimum four hours notice for morning runs, 24 hour notice for afternoon/ evening weekend/public holiday pickups - Call 0417 002 025 Arty Farty by Alison Edwards Artworks must be packed and labelled or will not be accepted. It s a lso important to note that this year we are being more gentle to the committee and the closing date for submiss ion of works will be firm and with a longer lead time.
