Vollie News Thursday 13th March 2014 Page 3 News from Palmerston Benny Butler Palmerston Adult Division received its new members after five weeks induction course. Angie and I decided to go to the Division early Wednesday night knowing that we were to welcome our newest members after their five weeks induction training course. And sure enough, there in the car park across the road from the hall some of the new members met us at the gate early as we had expected. Keen, enthusiastic and eager to attend the training lesson, thanks to Litchfield Division and Barbra Klessa. Sprains, strains and dislocation with practical revision. All six new members attended and with admin completed, they were made very welcome. It was time to complete the training over the course of the nights activity. They were enthusiastic, positive and keen. Before too long the night was over and it was time to end the lesson and put stores away. Do you think anyone wanted to go home? Um, Um no! CHIN WAG! CHIN WAG! We haven't had a night like this in a while, I can assure you and the Duty Roster book received a very good looking over with some duties applied for. Look out Mud Racing, here we come ...........
