There are currently 749 packages marked as Awarded on ICN Gateway with 1 new Ichthys work package listed in January. Ichthys Bonaparte LNG (GDF Suez) ICN representatives met with GDF Suez this month and were informed that they are in final discussions with their Engineer, Procure, Construct, Installation and Commission (EPCIC) bid companies KBR / Hyundai Heavy Industries and Technip / DSME. FEED expected Q1 2014. Shell Prelude FLNG Shell Prelude supply base is progressing well with Decmil currently constructing their facility in Berrimah. The operation contract has not been awarded as yet. Source: constructionindustrynews.net Successful Completion of Key Dredging at Walker Shoal The Ichthys LNG Project has completed the most technically challenging section of its Darwin Harbour dredging program. Successfully avoiding the need for drilling and blasting, an experienced team adopted innovative techniques and technologies as an alternative to remove tough rock at Walker Shoal that was sometimes twice as hard as strengthened concrete. To date, no environmental impacts from the dredging and disposal works have been identified by the Projects scientific environmental monitoring program. INPEX Dredging Package Manager Harutoshi Usui said a team of over 250 people had worked hard to minimise disturbance to the community and environment, knowing the harbour is very big in peoples hearts. Potential developers of this site should keep an eye on the Department of Lands Planning and the Environment website dlp.nt.gov.au for a notice for RFP. New Supreme Courts for Alice Springs The Territory Government has indicated it will go to tender in March for the development of two new Supreme Courts in Alice Springs.
