Monday 10 October 2011 will also mark the official launch of two x 30 second LocalGovernment advertisements which will actively raise the profile of Local Government in the Northern Territory in terms of what councils do and the people they employ. The advertisements will be available to councils to display on their websites and will be run extensively on commercial television throughout Local Government Week and for the three months following. The next round of workshops will be the Infrastructure and Financial Planning workshops to be held toward the end of this year. Territory NRM Local Grants make it possible for small groups to involve volunteers and other land managers in projects that benefit the Territorys natural environment. We are conducting an online survey of enterprises which aims to identify community recycling enterprises in Australia and indicate their size, structure and impacts.
