The position is for 12 months and Kerrie commenced in the role on January 7 2013. Kerrie will be based in Medical Services for this component of her role. Kerrie is enrolled in a Masters of Clinical Education at Flinders University and is involved in undergraduate teaching. The role will coordinate the involvement of RDH specialists in the delivery of clinical training to NTMP medical students. It will also contribute to curriculum development and the establishment of clinical placement opportunities to meet the needs of NTMP medical students and elective medical students from other Australian medical schools. This is a new role for RDH and Flinders NTMP and will assist in setting up the strategic direction of supporting and improving academic excellence. CBME Administrator Role Esther Miller commenced employment at Flinders NT in the CBME administration position based at RDH on 3 January 2013. Esther comes to Flinders with a strong university background having worked at the University of Tasmania Faculty of Law. Esther replaces Mary Waria (right) who has relocated interstate. While Mary was in the CBME position, the role expanded to cover the organisation of OSCEs, student orientations and the weekly co-ordination of Year3/5 PBLs. Both staff and students will miss Marys smile and zest for life. Flinders NT Staff Updates 20
