Description
Jim Jim Falls is one of the most beautiful places I have visited in the Northern Territory. To get there you turn east off the Kakadu Highway 43km south of the Bowali Centre, then you 4WD in for 60km the last 10km of track are through creeks and soft sand. The walk in is through beautiful monsoon forest and a very challenging climb over large rock boulders to a deep, crystal clear, freezing cold plunge pool. Spectacular 150 metre high cliffs encircle this amazing place, this image was made by climbing up the side of the cliffs on the shaded side of this amphitheatre and looking back down at the beach.,
