A mentor of the young people always with the push to achieve their full potential. Her approach was uncomplicated: its was about forming good habits, guiding by the examples she set. Kwementyaye can be credited with improving the relationship between the Aboriginal community and Alice Springs Service providers. An outstanding community leader, respected by Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal people alike for her integrity, hard work and determination to get things done as a proud strong Arrernte women.
