Territory Thunder skipper Cameron Ilett will play his first NTFL match of the season when St Marys takes on Waratahs at Marrara tomorrow afternoon. Ilett joins veteran defender Luke Stapleton as a welcome boost of experience to the competition leaders, but Saints lose their captain in Peter MacFarlane, midfielder Justin Wilson and young defender Ben Rioli for the 2.15pm clash. Third-placed Waratahs have named high-flying forward Waylen Manson on an extended bench, and include 2010-11 Rising Star winner Braedon McLean and halfback Brad Rayson. Nightcliff start 2013 off with a host of inclusions as last years grand finalists make a run for the top five. The sixth-placed Tigers head into its must-win battle with Palmerston at 5pm ar med with Nichols medallist Troy Coates, who will play his first game of the season. Defender Darren Guelfi, forward Michael Gugliotta, club leading goalkicker Luke Jarjoura and Elijah Ware were also named, but former Brisbane Lions and Collingwood forward Anthony Corrie and Sam Bromley-Lynch will miss. Palmerston lose former AFL players Ryan Gamble, Ricky Dyson, Brent Prismall and Albert Proud, and promote youngsters Joe Thompson, Zak Stephenson, Thomas Puautjimi and Jake Hussey. Defending premiers Tiwi Bombers, coming off a narrow 14-point win to bottomplaced Darwin at Nguiu Oval, get a host of stars back for their 2.30pm clash with Southern Districts at TIO Stadium on Sunday. NT Thunder duo Austin Wonaeamirri and Patrick Heenan return, dual best-andfairest winner Ross Tungatalum is back from suspension, while Albert Tipunguwti, Edward Darcy, Ben McCasker, Ephrem Tipungwuti and Simon Munkara return from injury. Crocodile spearhead Damian Cupido needs 14 goals from the next two games to break legend Dennis Dunns record for fastest 100-goal season. The two sides have played high-scoring shootouts in both encounters this season, where Cupido has scored a total of 18 goals. Wanderers will welcome back former Geelong and Western Bulldogs midfielder Nathan Djerrkura, 24, for his first match at the club since being drafted in 2006. The speedster retired from the AFL last season and returned home to Gove. He heads a list of 10 inclusions for the Eagles in their match against the Buffaloes.
