The project, one of the worlds largest LNG facilities, involves gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin, about 200 km off Western Australia, being exported to onshore processing facilities in Darwin via an 889-kilometre subsea pipeline. The project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG and 1.6 million tonnes of LPG a year, along with about 100,000 barrels of condensate a day at peak. The Project is now in the construction phase and mobilisation has commenced.
