West Arnhem Wire - news in brief from Jabiru, Gunbalanya, Maningrida, Warruwi and Minjilang 20 Sept to 3 Oct 2012 KIDS WARMING TO FRIDGE They may be sweltering in 38 degree heat as the Top End clings on to the last of the dry, but the kids of Gunbalanya know how to keep cool: paint an esky. @F> M & " sport and recreation staff and other community members to paint eskies for the upcoming Darwin % The afternoon painting session included a free BBQ and a splash at the local Gunbalanya Pool. O individuals from around the Top End to make fridge or esky art, or write a poem or construct a piece of community theatre. The art will then be displayed in prominent locations around Darwin from 13 to 27 October. O 4 festival, joining artists, businesses and community in a spirit of celebration, play and harmony.
