LeCras was assisted off the field by two trainers after suffering the injury, which is almost certain to rule him out of Sundays NAB Cup games against Fremantle and Essendon at Patersons Stadium. A West Coast spokesman said the club wouldnt speculate on the seriousness of the injury until they received the results of scans today. But with West Coasts season-opener against the Bulldogs just over six weeks away, LeCras could face a race against time. LeCras was expecting to spend time in the midfield this pre-season after building his fitness. Eagles short of stars for clash Southern Districts will be without skipper Matt Cannard for the game against Nightcliff FOOTBALL ByGREYMORRIS WANDERERS will be without some big names for tomorrows final NTFL home and away game against St Marys. The Eagles can seal a spot in next weeks elimination final by beating their longtime rivals in the 2.30pm game at TIO Stadium. But they will have to do it without Shannon and Daniel Motlop, Brad Vassal and Josh Cubillo, who will miss the game through unavailability and injury. Veteran forward Darryl White is back in the St Marys side with Brent LeCras, while John Anstess (knee) will miss. Southern Districts will be without inspirational skipper Matt Cannard for his sides must-win game against Nightcliff. Districts can make the five if they beat Nightcliff by five goals and St Marys beat Wanderers by the same margin. Cannard is unavailable for the 5pm clash, while veteran Crocodile Shannon Rusca is injured and key forward Marcus McMillan will miss through suspension. Nightcliff selectors will wait until the morning of the game before finalising their starting side. The Tiwi Bombers brought back some big names to their team for the 7.30pm clash against Waratahs. The Bombers 100th game for premiership points includes Shane Tipuamanta mirri, Ross Tungatalum and Ephrem Tipungwuti, who were all rested last week. Patrick Heenan (ill) and Austin Wonaeamirri (ankle) will miss as the Bombers look to beat Tahs for the first time this season. Waratahs will be without Brendan Fevola, but another former AFL star in Kayne Pettifer has been named in the starting 22. Defender Davey OSullivan is back in the side in place of fellow backmen David May and Jake Smart, who have been rested.
