2 expected in the Northern Territory equates to the rest of Australia. Please keep this fact in mind when looking at your childs results in their report card. We continue to strive for high academic results at Parap Primary School but balance this with a focus on celebrating where each child is currently at and the distance that they travel in their own education. CELEBRATING STUDENT SUCCESS: Congratulations to our very own Jasper Durling whose magnificent art work was selected to be featured in the 2012 Northern Territory Emergency Calendar. Jaspers talent was recognised and celebrated yesterday when the Chief Minister, Mr Paul Henderson, visited Jaspers class to launch the calendar and present Jasper with his prize for being selected, his very own Ipad2! We have sent a copy of the Emergency Calendar home with every child today, you can find Jaspers masterpiece in the month of January. Well done Jasper, we hope this achievement continues to inspire you and other children to pursue the arts. CHRISTMAS WITH FRIENDS CONCERT: Ms Fegan and I thoroughly enjoyed auditioning the acts for the Parap Primary School Christmas with Friends Concert. We were so impressed by the level of talent that we had a hard time culling the number of acts. As a result the concert will go a little longer than originally anticipated. The concert will be held on Friday the 9 th of December. The concert will commence at 9:15 a.m. and we anticipate that it may continue after recess. A running order will be featured in next weeks Flyer, all children who are performing have already been notified. Please remember a gold coin donation for
