The Family Jewels shop owner Kane Kelfkens said yesterday his unsuspecting sales assistant Linda feared the worst when DiCaprios bodyguards arrived. Linda was serving a customer when the two big bodyguards approached, Mr Kelfkens, next door at the time, told the Daily Telegraph. DiCaprio was wear ing a hoodie, cap and dark sunglasses and the sales assistant feared a robbery. Linda sent the customer to get me, thinking the shop is about to be robbed, chuckled Kelfkens. DiCaprio is in Sydney filming Baz Luhrmanns The Great Gatsby. Gillard grin CANBERRA: Opposition Leader Tony Abbott said he had a good belly laugh at ABC TVs new sitcom, At Home With Julia a parody of Prime Minister Julia Gillard. Will there be a second series? This is the big question, Mr Abbott said yesterday. Yoda, pictured in the 1977 film Star Wars, is set to get another makeover in the Blu-Ray set StarWars reload By OWEN VAUGHAN Lucas fiddles with films again LOS ANGELES: The saga of Star Wars creator George Lucas tinkering with his classic series continues with a Blu-Ray launch. The Star Wars BluRay set will contain enough extras, deleted scenes, out-takes and documentaries to convince even the most jaded of fans to buy them again. But no Star Wars re-release would be complete without some tinkering by Lucas. The director has tinkered with the saga ever since the first chapter hit cinemas. The first tweak he made was in 1981 when he added Episode IV: A New Hope to the title. Then in the mid1990s, with the Star Wars Special Edition releases, he let his imagination run riot with CGI and digitally corrected the sins of his past. Fans were overjoyed to have the trilogy back, but alterations to one scene in particular Han Solos cantina shootout in Star Wars became the focus of fury. Lucas argued that the new versions were closer to how he originally envisioned the films. So what are the more notable changes in the Blu-Ray set? 1. The Ewoks in Return of the Jedi now have eyes that move and blink. 2. The creepy puppet Yoda from The Phantom Menace is replaced by an all-digital Yoda. 3. Remember that weird noise Obi-Wan Kenobi makes in Star Wars to scare off the Tusken Raiders? He now emits a piercing cry that sounds as though a Wookiee has just jumped on his toes. 4. Darth Vader regains his humanity at the climax of Return of the Jedi, with a Homer Simpsonstyle Nooooooo!, just before he tosses the Emperor down a lift shaft for torturing his son. Star Wars is out on BluRay on September 15. 105.7 ABC DARWIN SATURDAY: 5.05 Tales from the Tinny 7.10 Bfast with Richard Margetson 8.00 Sat AM 8.30 Bfast conts; incl Top End Gardener 11.05 Terr Gstand with Roanna Edwards 12.35 Gstand AFL: Collingwood vs W/C Eagles 5.30 Sat Night Spin 6.30 AFL: St Kilda vs Sydney 10.00 Saturday Night Country.
