Description

No 5ACS RAAF, Darwin, NT, 1959. RAAF quarry at Darwin River. Trains were loaded at the Darwin River Quarry with rough crushed blue metal. This rock was then unloaded from the train using this chinaman and the trucks then delivered the rock to the fine crusher for crushing and use in the construction of the new 11/29 airstrip.,
