The Member for Lingiari, Mr Warren Snowdon, said the government has committed more than $180,000 for the project under its Indigenous Employment Program. He said: I congratulate Maiden Civil on committing to employ all the participants who successfully complete their training and for joining the Gillard Government in a bid to close the gap in indigenous employment. This project is particularly important because it will provide a great opportunity for local indigenous job seekers in Tennant Creek. The government has committed another $650 million to the program.
