CAALAS has a team of lawyers and support staff who provide quality representation in a culturally appropriate manner in the area of Criminal, Civil and Family Law. We are seeking: A reliable and motivated person, with good communication skills, to assist individual Aboriginal prisoners to become empowered to plan and prepare for their release by facilitating reconnection with family and community and addressing transitional needs such as life skills, housing, employment and rehabilitation. The successful applicant will provide intensive pre and post release rehabilitation and reintegration services and case management to clients, in close collaboration with Northern Territory Correctional Services staff and contractor, relevant family members and community-based organisations. He/she will also facilitate prisoner parole applications. CONDITIONS: SALARY: ASO Level 5-6 - Packaged up to $75,853 (salary is commensurate with experience) - includes District Allowance and salary sacrifice component. l Additional 9% superannuation on base salary. l Six (6) weeks Annual Leave. l Some relocation assistance available. l All terms and conditions of the CAALAS Enterprise Agreement apply.
