The Northern Territory Government Gazette No. G28, 13 July 2011 Page 3 (a) I have in pursuance of section 40(4)(b) of the Act, decided to grant a Variation of Exceptional Development Permit EDP09/0003 for the development situated on Section 6209 (formerly Part Section 4356) (24) Beaton Road, Hundred of Bagot; (b) Exceptional Development Permit EDP09/0003 granted consent for the development and use of the land for the purpose of supporting accommodation and ancillary administration; (c) The variation of Exceptional Development Permit EDP09/0003 does not alter the schedule of conditions or endorsed plans granted through EDP09/0003, and only extends the base period of the permit for twelve months; and (d) Copies of Exceptional Development Permit EDP09/0003A and the Reasons for the Decision are available from the Offices of the Department of Lands and Planning, Ground Floor 38 Cavenagh Street Darwin. McCARTHY Minister for Lands and Planning 4/28 Associations Act REINSTATEMENT OF ASSOCIATION DISSOLVED IN ERROR I, MALCOM BRYANT, the delegate of the Commissioner of Consumer Affairs, under section 65(7) of the Associations Act, reinstate the Gove Peninsula Festival Association Incorporated (02306C) which was dissolved, as the result of an error, by a notice of dissolution dated 7 January 2011 and published in Gazette No. G3 of 19 January 2011. BRYANT Delegate of Commissioner Note The Gove Peninsula Festival Association Incorporated is taken to have continued in existence as if it had not been dissolved. 5/28 Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act NT WORKSAFE Scheme Monitoring Committee Members Expressions of Interest Nominations are invited from persons within the Northern Territory who: are representatives of organisations representing employees; are representatives of organisations representing employers; and are representatives of organisations representing insurers. The Scheme Monitoring Committee comprises of the Executive Director, NT WorkSafe and no more than seven members (one of whom shall be an actuary) appointed by the Minister. The committees function is to: (a) monitor the viability and performance of the workers compensation scheme; (b) monitor premium rates offered for workers compensation in the Territory; (c) receive submissions from persons relating to premium rates charged for workers compensation insurance policies in the Territory or elsewhere; (d) monitor and publish data on overall underwriting results; (e) advise the Minister on the basis of its consideration of information obtained by it; and (f) consider and report on the effectiveness of the premiums offered by insurers (i) in encouraging employers to develop and maintain safe working practices; and (ii) in penalising employers which do not ensure the maintenance of safe working practices. The term of office is not to exceed two years, as determined by the Minister.
