His niece, Tracey Burvill, who lives in Darwin, remembers him well. He never talked about being in the army around me but I remember him having some wicked nightmares or zooies as we used to call them. He would call out in his sleep, yell out obscenities and sometimes sit up ready to shoot anyone who crossed his path. He was a gentle man who would do anything for anyone. He was a spray painter by trade and did a fantastic job spray painting my first car. Traceys Uncle Ray died of a massive heart attack in 2000 at the age of 54.
