103ANNUAL REPORT 2003 - 2004 O TH ER IN FO R M A TIO N CORPORATE GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE OTHER INFORMATION The Executive Management Group continued its role during the year as the senior decision making group of the Department. During 2003-2004, this Group was involved in reviewing and resetting the Departments strategic directions over a two day workshop and undertaking a strategic business risk assessment within the Department. Members of the Committee attended the Departments Executive Management Group meetings during the year, to advise on regional initiatives and the setting of regional priorities. The Information Management Committee oversaw the establishment of freedom of information processes and reporting in its inaugural year of 2003-2004. The Audit Committee continued to meet during the year to address internal and external audit programs and to progress other corporate governance matters. The Occupational Health and Safety Committee continued to meet throughout the year to review health and safety issues relevant to the Department.
