Performance Highlights To assist agencies in the implementation of Governments procurement reform, two significant reports were developed: a 30 day payment report, which ages payments to suppliers, enabling agencies to investigate the reasons why payments were made outside of 30 days; and a procurement profile report which details purchasing activity of the agency which through analysis will assist in the development of more effective procurement practices. Automated general financial statements were developed to assist agencies meet their end of financial year reporting obligations. Audits No audits were undertaken on this product during the year. Initiatives 2004/05 Whole of government cash flow reports will be enhanced, to remove the effect of the accounts payable and purchase order liability accounts. A new comprehensive repository of data will be created from the Government Accounting System. This will enable production of more relevant and pertinent reports that will assist agency program managers to make more informed decisions.
