General Services 59 Couriers and Dispatch The courier and dispatch service provides pick up, sorting, franking and delivery of mail to and from pre designated destinations within the Northern Territory. The price reduction is for the reasons stated below. Performance highlights An opportunity for reorganisation of the unit has again seen considerable saving in the cost of delivering the service. The couriers have absorbed the dispatch function. This has resulted in almost a 50% reduction in the price of the service to agencies. Audits No audits were conducted on this product during the year. Initiatives 2004/05 No specific initiatives have been identified for 2003/04.
