Performance Highlights An archives office was established in Alice Springs in November 2003 to provide archival collection, preservation and community access services to Central Australia. The government archives program was resourced to meet new transfer and access obligations in accordance with the archives management provisions of the Information Act 2002. A project to select and implement an archives management system was initiated. Work proceeded on system selection and preparation of data. Implementation is scheduled for 2004.
