ABOUT THE COMMISSION NTEC ANNUAL REPORT 2006-07 PAGE 5 of 48 A joint working party, the Joint Electoral Services Program (JESP), meets regularly to plan and report on electoral program delivery in the Territory. Major achievements of the program for the reporting period included: Delivery of primary/secondary school presentations; Shopping centre/market enrolment drives; Public awareness activities at major events (Bass in the Grass, V8 Supercars and NT show circuits); Public awareness activities conducted prior to by-elections for the division of Stuart and the Katherine Town Council; Researching the demographics of electors enrolling at various public awareness activity outlets; Continuation of an integrated electoral service field program in remote areas of the Northern Territory; Development of consistent evaluation and performance reporting of field activities; Attendance at Australian Citizenship ceremonies; and A targeted enrolment stimulation project.
