P. h'ATER QUAI..ITY SU~h'Ll\RY 1173 BARALIL CREEK CROSSING .li.T ARNHEM HIGHWAY - Water is present at ~~is site 8 9 months of the year with flow 5-6 months of the year. This site appears Hell flushed as quality is consistent and parameters low throughout the sampling period. Conductivity however, increases as the site dries up towards the end of the dry season. 1174 BARALIL CREEK, U/S A&,HEM HIGh~AY CROSSING - This site, like 1173 has water present 8-9 months of the year and flows 5-6 months of the year. It shows rises in suspended solids, conductivity and nutrients towards the end of the dry season, possibly derived from the activity on the Jabiru townsite. Many of these fluctuations are not reflected downstream at RSPll73. ll 77 CORNDORL CREEK - JIM JU1 ROAD CROSSING - This is on a tributary known as Golf Course Creek. It contains water 5-7 months of L~e year and floHs only a proportion of that time. Water quality is good consistent with continual flushing. 1178 CORNDORL CREEK AR.,HEM HTGHWAY CROSSING - Water is present 3-5 months of the year at this site, and flows the majority of this time, indicating quick response of the stream. Water quality is good and consistent with continual flushing. COOPER CREEK 1239 UPSTRE~~ NABARLEK- This site, located near a pluviometer station, contains water only 5-6 months of L~e year. It has a small catclli"ent and is fully flushed when water is present and thus is clear and clean. 1114 DOWNSTRE&~ NABARLEK - Water is present at this site approximately 8 months of the year with flow recorded 7-8 months of the year. Water quality is consistently extremely good, with only a few pH fluctuations observed as the site dries uo. Some fluctuations in uranium concentration have b~en observed, possibly due to activity at the Nabarlek site. 39lD NINBAN.~.H ROCK - Nater is preser.t 9-10 months of the year ar.d flow is present 5-6 months of the year. Nater quality is reasonably constant with a slight increase in conductivity towards the end of t~e dry season. Uranium is rarely detected at this site. I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I
