I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I 2 Minutes of the Previous Meeting 4. The minutes of the meeting held on 26 March 1986 were accepted by Mr. Portlock and seconded by Mr. Black. 5. The Executive Officer requested feedback on the way in which the minutes were prepared, particularly the format of the minutes of the previous meeting. 6. The planning committee expressed support in the way In which the minutes were prepared. Mr. Black requested that specific resolution/tasks be identified in future minutes, separate to the text. Action. The Executive Officer is to action the request. Eusiness Arising 7. Planning, Mr. Paige asked Mr. Mitchell if the letter to the Director Department of Lands, dated 5 March 1986 had been addressed. 8. In reference to the minutes of the previous meeting, page 2 Daragraph 8, Mr. Mitchell requested that the Executive Officer check with the Town Planning Authority that the letter to the Director Planning, Department of Lands is raised for discussion at the next meeting of the Town Planning Authority. 9. The Executive Officer advised the planning committee that contact was made with the Department of Lands. (see attached Annex 1 internal minute 5400/4/3 dated 26 March 1986) 10. Further, the Executive Officer contacted Mr. Gargon, Assistant Secretary South on 16 April and asked if there would be any correspondence in answer to the letter to the Town Planning Authority from the Region Counter Disaster Planning Committee - Region 5. 11. Mr. Gargon was to reply prior to this meeting of the planning committee. There has been no correspondence in. 12. Mr. Mitchell advised the planning committee that the next meeting of the Town Planning Authority is on the 13 May 1986. Mr. Mitchell also advised the planning committee that the Aldermen who attend the Town Planning Authority meetings have made no mention of the letter to the Director Planning being addressed at a meeting as yet.
