Introduction of staff to the technology will initially involve a "familiarisation of equipme:nt" and training programme. Documentation of specific procedures required for the installation and operation of the equipmEmt has been commenced. The initial validation and cal ibration procedures are contained wi thin I however a field guide is proposed. In addition, a schedule of maintenance and checking, and procedures encompassing the aspects of data handling, dovmloading, truthing and cataloguing requires further- development. A software package to enable efficient processing of the logged data has been developed to produce a universally usable data form. ?his will service a number of computerised groundwater int'~rpretation and analysis aids and ultimately an optimised parameter groundwater modelling package to be used as a predictive tool.
