RECOMMENDATIONS It is recommended that: (i) New bore RN 21403 should be equipped with a pump capable of pumping 8 Lis at a pump inlet setting of 21.9 m below ground level; (ii) Existing production bore RN 8900 should be equipped with a pump capable of pumping 8 Lis at a setting of 23 m and used as a standby bore; (iii) The pumping from the lake should be discontinued; (iv) Water levels should be monitored from the observation bores, on a six weekly basis; (v) Further work is required to investigate the areal extent of the groundwater source.
